- Build your first deck, then review it yourself before sharing or assigning it.
- Use the guides if you want examples of spaced repetition, active recall, and card-writing best practices.
Creating Flashcards
Learn how to create, edit, and organize your flashcards effectively.
- Keep each card focused on one prompt and one answer so review stays fast.
- Use imports when you already have vocabulary lists or question banks prepared.
- Add images or audio only when they improve recall, not just to decorate the card.

- Use one deck across classroom practice, homework, and self-study instead of rebuilding the same content in multiple places.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create my first flashcard deck?
To create your first deck, go to "My Decks" in your dashboard, click "Create Deck", give it a name and description, then start adding flashcards one by one or import them from a CSV file.
What games are available to help me learn?
We offer several activities including Flashcard Review, Speak It, Type It, Concept Test, Memory Match, Matching Game, Multiple Choice Quiz, Fill in the Blank, Word Search, Anagram, Crossword, Spelling Practice, and Character Writing Practice.
How does spaced repetition work?
Smart Tracking schedules secure cards later and difficult cards sooner from accepted results. Four-skill language decks keep separate Reading & writing and Listening & speaking schedules, while one-track decks use a shared schedule. Supported tracked activities can record results automatically.
Can I share decks with my students?
Teachers can create classes on Free. Assigning decks and homework requires Teacher Open or an eligible legacy plan; Just Games does not include assignments. Students find assigned work in their dashboard.
Is my data secure?
We apply standard security controls and review them regularly. For details on what data we collect and how it is handled, please read our Privacy Policy.
How do I connect an AI app to Kaboosh?
Eligible Open, Pro, and Academy Individual or Teacher accounts can add https://mcp.kaboosh.app/mcp in a compatible AI app, then approve the requested permissions under Settings -> Connected AI. Free accounts cannot connect an AI app. Access can be revoked at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings โ Billing โ Manage subscription, choose Cancel subscription, and confirm. Check the end date shown there. Canceling renewal does not itself request a refund.
How do I request a refund?
Contact support@kaboosh.app with your account email, invoice reference, and the reason for your request. Do not send passwords or full card details. Refund eligibility depends on your plan terms and applicable law.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings โ Danger zone โ Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. Account deletion cannot be undone. For a school-managed student account or if you cannot sign in, contact your teacher or support. See the Privacy Policy for retention exceptions.
